Can you check my SASSA status for me?

No. We are not SASSA and do not have access to their systems or your personal information. To check your status, you must use the official SASSA SRD website.

My grant was declined, can you help me appeal?

We cannot process appeals for you. An appeal must be submitted by you directly to the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA) via their official website. We provide guides on how to do this, but we cannot do it on your behalf.

When will I get my payment? I have an approved status.

We do not have access to specific payment dates for individuals. Payment dates are not fixed and vary from person to person. Once your status is approved, SASSA will send you an SMS when your payment is ready or has been sent to your bank account.

I need to change my phone number or bank details. Can you help?

No, we cannot update your personal details. For your security, all changes to your application, including banking details or phone numbers, must be done by you on the official SASSA SRD website.

Is SRDGuide.co.za the official SASSA website?

No. We are an independent informational website. Our goal is to provide easy-to-understand guides to help South Africans navigate the SRD grant process. We are not affiliated with the South African government or SASSA.
